Monday's Read: A Little Catch Up
Good evening everyone!
Firstly, I apologise for not having posted on my blog for some time. As you probably saw from my Instagram, it was my Mum’s 50th birthday recently so I had been working on quite a few projects which seemed to take up the majority of my time, but now I'm back!
For one of her birthday presents, I booked for the two of us to go to a spa for the day in Bury St. Edmunds. We’re both always busy so my intention was to book a day out for us to spend time together and catch up on everything that’s been happening. After taking the scenic route on the way up there, we finally arrived at the Bannatyne Spa. We sat down in the grounds and had a coffee before heading into the gym for a circuit and cardio workout. My Mum was then booked to have her nails done at 12pm so we got changed and headed into one of the treatment rooms. Soon after we were booked in to have some lunch which was lovely by the way! We then had our treatments booked in for 2pm which I was so looking forward to! I booked my Mum in for a back and foot massage whilst I had a full body massage and a facial. The woman used all Elemis products and I've since ordered a few to use at home. When I get them I’m going to share a little tutorial on the products and how to use them so make sure you watch out for it. Shortly after our treatments, we went into the swimming pool and sauna which just completed the day.
Saturday morning, I went to the gym and tried to sweat away all my sins from the previous weekends no sleep & drinking episodes in Marbella. It was also in preparation for my holiday that I go on tomorrow, not that it probably made much of a difference but I still went. I then had a bit of life admin and running around to do before I sat down to film my YouTube video which will be going live this Sunday! I wanted to share my summer holiday makeup routine with you guys which is super quick and easy so please do have a watch when it goes live :)
In the evening, we had Sam and his family come round for dinner which was so lovely. We usually do it every year for Flo’s birthday but we brought it forward a few months. We ordered a takeaway whilst watching the Champions League final - Sam’s family are huge Liverpool fans so it was a great outcome for everyone.
I spent Sunday morning plodding around and relaxing. I felt like the last few days had been very hectic and busy so it was quite nice to have a little break whilst cuddling up with Flo on the sofa. In the afternoon, Ted and my cousins had a Young Drivers lesson in Bluewater so we all headed over there to watch them drive. It was soooo weird seeing my little Brother driving a car! He’s only 11 years old but this company teach 10-17 year olds how to drive. We then went to one of my local carvery’s for dinner and it was so nice catching up with everyone. Plus, the food is always amazing in there, we tend to go there quite often.
I had such a lovely weekend and I can’t believe me and Sam are off to Greece tomorrow! I can’t wait to be in the sun, just relaxing and soaking up some rays.
I hope you all have a lovely week and I’ll catch up with you soon.
Love Robyn xxx
