Monday's Read: A Weekend in London
You know those days where you wish you could just rewind to the weekend? Well I’ve certainly been having one of those days. I had the most amazing weekend and I’m sad it’s all over.
Friday evening I came home from work and still had quite a lot to finish off so I sat on my laptop for most of the night. Saturday on the other hand, was a lot busier. I had a horse riding lesson at 9am which was really fun. I did loads of jumping this week and it was actually quite hard as I haven’t been the past few Saturdays. Things have kept popping up so I hadn’t been able to get there to ride.
Straight from my riding lesson, I went home and packed my bags for London as I was meeting with Conor James at 11am. Whilst on my way there, me and Sam decided to book a hotel for the evening as we were planning on going out for the night - talk about last minute! I had none of my essentials stuff packed so luckily enough Sam was able to bring a few things with him when he came. I then met Conor at Sloane Square and I managed to shoot quite a lot of new outfits that I had - I can’t wait to share them with you all!
After shooting, I decided it would be a good idea to take a walk through Hyde Park and onto the hotel to drop my suitcase off. It took me about an hour and I think it was the hottest day of the year so far. I was pretty worn out by the time I got to the hotel.
Once I dropped my bags off, I then walked again through Hyde Park to South Kensington - As you can tell, I wanted to make the most out of this lovely weather! I met with my friend Keah and we then went onto brunch at The Ivy in Chelsea for one of our friends birthdays. It was really lovely in there! I would definitely recommend going there as they offer a few different menus and events.
After brunch, I walked back to the hotel and met with Sam. We got ready together before heading into Picadilly to have some dinner and drinks. It was such a lovely evening! We went onto Tiger Tiger which was a first for me. They have a few different rooms which play different music genres which is good as it appeals to quite a large amount of people. We had a few drinks and then headed back to the hotel.
Sunday morning, we checked out and headed back to Stratford, Westfields where Sam had parked his car for the night. We grabbed a Nandos and then headed back to mine where Sam could watch the football and I could catch up on some work.
I so wish that we could rewind to Friday night. Last night when I got into bed, I felt so content and grateful to have such amazing people in my life who make weekends like this so special. The weather was amazing and I can’t wait for summer to come!
Lots of love,
