Monday's Read: Duck & Dry Blow-dry & New Lashes
Good evening guys!
Sorry it’s a late one tonight. It was my Grandad’s birthday today so we’ve all been round my cousins celebrating and having dinner. I’ve just got home and watched to catch up with you guys on what’s been going on.
So here’s how my weekend started. Friday evening I went to get a blowdry from Duck & Dry on Kings Road, Chelsea. It was my first time visiting that particular salon and I believe it’s the first one they opened. My cousin actually use to work in there before moving onto other Duck & Dry salons. I also want to mention that my blowdry is still in! I mean, today will be the last day but it’s done so well to hold for as long as 4 days. If you’re looking to visit their Spitalfields Market salon, you can get £10 off with code ‘BATESROBYN’.
After my blowdry, me and my friend Ellie went out in my local town for some drinks and a Nando’s. We ended up seeing a few of my old school friends which was lovely as I haven’t seen them in what feels like forever.
After watching endless amounts of instastories from Mrs Hinch, I now feel like a cleaning goddess. I spent all day Saturday washing the blinds in my bedroom, my windows, wardrobes, walls, everything you name it. It was actually quite therapeutic and I loved laying in bed last night with a clean and tidy room.
Saturday afternoon I drove to Orpington, Kent and had my eyelashes done by the amazing @lashes_bysophiea. I now feel complete with my new eyelash extensions, she’s done such a good job of them! I would highly recommend visiting her if you’re in the South London/Kent area.
After my eyelash appointment, I drove home and got ready for my Aunts 50th Birthday Party. My family all went to a bar in our local town where we met up with the rest of our family and friends.
Sunday morning was rather chilled. I spent a few hours replying to all my emails and just catching up with admin tasks. My Dad & Brother then had a football game which was in Loughton so I went along to support them. He won 6-0 and his whole team played so well.
After football, I took my Brother and cousin swimming at the gym. Usually when I go to the gym, I spend my time doing classes or working out. It was quite nice to go there and go swimming for a change. It wasn’t long before we jumped out and got ready as we were going to carvery for dinner. Carvery’s always do the best Yorkshire puddings, they’re literally my favourite!
And then before you know it, it’s Monday all over again! I hope you all had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the sunshine - it’s already got me thinking of summer!
Catch up with you guys soon,
Love Robyn xxx
