Goodbye 2018 and hello 2019! How quick did that year just go? It’s actually scary as we get older, years seem to fly by. To start this new year off with, I want to say a massive thank you for your continued support and love for my Blog, YouTube and Instagram. I really appreciate you guys following me on a daily basis and tuning into my latest updates.
2018 was a bit of a rollercoaster journey for me so I’m looking forward to welcoming 2019 and seeing what this new year has in store for us. Every new year I say to myself, ‘I’m not setting any New Years resolutions’. However, I’ve just got a feeling that 2019 is going to be a good one and I want to start off on the right foot. For years now, I’ve been saying that I really want to get back into Horse Riding. I started riding when I was 5 years old and stopped shortly before my GCSE exams begun. I wanted to put my focus into my exams and revision so I decided to stop.
Since then, I’ve been saying to myself, I want to start up again but it’s something I’ve never got round to doing. A few weeks back, my Mum and I went to Olympia London for a horse show with our friends. It was that evening I actually booked my horse riding lesson for this new year and bought myself a new hat. I’ve made it my New Years resolution to start up again as I’ve really missed it over the years and I’ve been looking forward to getting back to it. My first lesson is actually this Saturday. I’m so excited about it and I’ll let you know how it goes in my Monday Post next week. I think it may take me a while to get into it but I suppose it’s a bit like riding a bike…?
I haven’t made any other New Years resolutions as I like to take every day as it comes. Sometimes I think by setting yourself too many resolutions, it can be quite overwhelming. That’s why I wanted to start off with horse riding and if there’s anything else I want to add in then I will when the time is right. It’s never too late and just because you didn’t start something on the 1st January, it doesn’t mean that you can’t start something now. Well that’s my motto anyway.
I hope you all have an amazing 2019!
