Monday's Read: Celebrating 22 Years

Good afternoon everyone! I’m very much now into the swing of things, travelling to and from London every day, it gives me the perfect opportunity to sit down, have some me time and write my blog posts. The journey normally takes me around 1 hour so it’s perfect amount of time for me to get relaxed and fill you in on the weekend I’ve had.

So as you may know, I turned 22 on Thursday and I just want to start by saying; thank you so much for all your lovely messages and comments. On Thursday, me, my Mum and Brother went to Brentwood for a little stroll around the shops before heading off to lunch with my Nan and Aunt. We went to the carvery as I’d been going on about it for the past week and it’s something I really fancied.

After lunch, we came back to ours and I got myself stuck into some craft bits that my parents bought for me. I love crafts, I always have done. When it comes to being creative, I would say I’m better at making and putting things together rather than the drawing side.

It’s a family tradition that we always have everyone round in the evening for dinner. With that, I had all my cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles over for a bite to eat and a chilled evening.

On Friday evening, I met up with Sam, my friends and a few of their boyfriends down one of my local pubs. I always drive past this pub and it’s always busy to I thought it would be the perfect location for us to all meet up and have a few drinks.

Saturday morning, we woke up and the weather was awful. Sam headed off to his football game whilst I went to the gym and done a workout before going into the sauna and steam room. Recently, I’ve become really motivated in the gym, more so than before and I love ending my session with a trip to the spa.

When I got home, me, my Dad, Brother and Cousin headed off to watch Sam’s game and he scored! Believe it or not, I've now been going out with Sam for almost 4 years and I’ve only seen him score a handful of times. I then met up with my friend Keah for lunch in Westfields, Stratford. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have this girl in my life, she gives the best advice and has the perfect answer for everything.

On Sunday, I went to watch my Brother play football with my family then came back home and started working on my new blog layout! It took me near enough the whole day to organise what I wanted to do and the posts I wanted to create for you before going live. Well, I hope you’re going to love it as much as I do!

Can’t wait to catch up with you in my next one!

Love Robyn x
