Your Everyday Trainers

I was bought these trainers for Christmas and I think they’re just about to become the next best thing. Adidas have certainly made their mark on the high street with thousands of people styling out their symbolic Superstars. They’ve been storming the market including the collaboration with Pharrell bringing out his own multi-colour range. Now it’s time to move onto what’s next …
Adidas Gazelles are the answer. Despite Gazelles being around for a while, I feel like they haven’t yet had their chance to shine. Looking at high street trends now, we can see a bit of the retro looks coming back which is perfect for these everyday trainers!

Don’t get me wrong, I love my heels come casual or dressy. But I think I’m a true trainer and comfort girl at heart. They’re so easy going and I can just picture all the amazing outfits they’d go with – especially in the summer!

Adidas Gazelles come in a variety of different colours including the leather and the suede materials so you can completely mix and match your outfits. Now that I have the white ones, I’m just itching to expand on the collection and experiment with new colours.
You can have a full look at their collection HERE.

The First Signs of Summer

Ahh Spring! - We’re nearly there and I cannot wait to be waking up to blue skies and bright sunshine. The clocks go forward this Sunday which means we’re going to gain those extra few hours during the evening. I find that my evenings are much more productive when it’s light outside, maybe because I don’t feel as though it’s getting late.

Where we wait so long for some sunshine, when we finally get it I think we go a bit crazy haha. Living in the UK, we don’t get much sun or nice weather so when it comes, I love taking full advantage of it. Recently we’ve been having a few spells of sun, hence the reason I went into London without tights & bare legged. I’m just hoping it’s here to stay now.

I know I probably go on about it a lot, but I really do love double denim put together. Both pieces are from Rare London and are so comfortable! Normally denim can be quite stiff and not have much give however my denim jacket and skirt are both made from stretch fabric. I bought this ‘Psycho’ t-shirt about 2 years ago and I think this was the first time I wore it! Do you ever have those things that you buy and then never wear? They just kind of get thrown to the back of the wardrobe and get forgotten about. Well that’s what happened with this one and how I feel like I want to wear it all the time.

The Perfect Gift for Mother's Day

Some of you may already know that I have my own personalised frame company called The Robyn Collection which I have been doing for quite some time now. With Mother’s Day coming up, I have been as busy as ever and I’m love putting all of the orders together.

Over the years I’ve been in contact with lots of lovely customers and put together so many frames with all different requests. Mother’s Day is such a lovely time to put together personal quotes that mean a lot to you. Between me & my Mum, we have lots of different sayings that I love to remind her of in my frames around the house. It’s nice to be able to put little sentiments in words and give as gifts for Mothers Day.

There are many alternatives to the generic Mum or Mother. I can completely tailor words, phrases and quotes to suit you. I know that if I gave my Mum a frame saying ‘Mother’ she wouldn’t be too pleased. That’s not what I call her so it would be no good.

None of my frames say ‘Happy Mothers Day’ (unless requested) which means you can keep it up all year round. Not only do I do these frames for Mother’s Day, I can also repeat the quotes for birthdays and other gifts.

There is still plenty of time to order one of my personalised frames. If you would like to place an order, then please email me: and I can create the frame as soon as so that it arrives with you in time for Mother’s Day. Furthermore, if you have any special requests then please send them over & I can add that into your order.

Caring for your Hair | Goldwell

From personal experience, I feel like my hair could make or break a day. If my hair isn’t up to scratch and is all over the place, then I don’t feel like I’m getting the most out of my day. It’s probably one of the most important things for us girls to do when getting ready. When I was in Italy during January, I asked my friend; if you had to do one thing when getting ready, what would it be? Your hair or your makeup? We both came to the agreement that our hair would have to take priority on this one!

Despite saying this, I don’t look after my hair as well as I should do regarding all of the treatments and masks that I should often be applying. It wasn’t until last week when I was getting my hair cut that I actually noticed how much it’s in bad condition. It’s probably all due to the hair straightening and putting my hair up in scruffy sunday buns. So on deciding that, I thought my hair could do with a bit of TLC.

I was super excited to start using my new Goldwell Shampoo as I’ve come to terms with using decent and good quality shampoo can actually make a difference. I recently learnt that when shampooing your hair - if it doesn’t lather so easily that means it’s extra dirty and you may need to do a few washs. I always wash my hair twice with Shampoo. I always have done and always will. I’m so use to doing it now that I think my hair wouldn’t feel clean if I did it the once. I also learnt that when washing your hair, it helps to put so much more moisture back into it giving you a much more healthier look.

And now hair perfume is trending! I’ve recently had a few hair fragrances sent to me and I can’t get enough of them. I love when I have fresh hair and I people comment on how nice it smells. So I’m in the habit now of using my new Goldwell hair fragrance. Just like normal perfumes, I love to spray it on my hair before I step out the front door and attack the day.

5 Tips on Becoming a Blogger

When I started blogging, I didn’t realise how big it would become and how it’s literally like another world. Now that I’m so into it, I’m able to see the full extent of effort people go to just to create one YouTube video or one blog post. Let me tell you that a decent blog post can take a day in itself to shoot and write up! YouTube is new to me so it’s taking me a few days to edit videos and still get my head around things.

Anyway, I get asked a lot of questions about starting one up and advice on what people can do to get themselves out there. It’s not easy! Yet again, nothing worth having comes easy. So I thought I’d just put together a little manual with 5 tips on how you can start up your blog today.

What are you Passionate about?
The most important thing about blogging is what you’re actually blogging about. There are so many things that people can write about now including video games, magic, technology and lots lots more. For me, I chose Fashion, Beauty & Lifestyle. They’re the 3 main things I love so I knew I wouldn’t get bored of writing about it all day.

Explore New Places & Blogs
Maybe you’re more of a lifestyle and flat shot photographer. That’s fine and maybe all you need is a few nice backgrounds to lay things on. It’s great for you to explore new blogs who are both similar and slightly different to your style. Venture out and see what others bloggers are taking photos of. It helps to give you a bit of inspiration. I also love exploring places in London and taking photos in different locations. It’s all part of building up my image and seeing what the city has to offer. Maybe I could stumble across a coffee shop which would inspire me to create content about it.

Good Quality Photos
This is key! Personally from past experience, I wouldn’t follow someone if the quality of their images weren’t up to scratch. I love looking at clean & crisp images where strong images and content are being built around it. I have an iPhone 7 so the quality of my camera is quite good. Therefore sometimes I will just take snaps on there, other times I will use my camera. As long as your images aren’t blurry or pixelated then you're good to go.

Get Socialising
Contacts are such an important thing in this industry as they’re what could potentially get you work. I try and stay in touch with as many people as possible as you never know what’s around the corner and who will need you. Building strong relationships is really what you need. Even down to making new friends, every time I get invited to events, I love taking one of my girlfriends along with me and getting to know more people once we’re there.

When I first started my blog, I was religiously posting 3 blog posts a week. I think I went near enough a whole year of doing this before other things and other platforms started popping up that I wanted to be a part of. Now that I’ve got a bit more stability back, I’m looking to keep up with my posts across all platforms and stick to it. I love seeing when new people have been looking at my blog each week. It makes me feel like I’m really doing my job right.

I hope this has helped towards starting up your own blog. I know it can be a bit daunting at first but when you get yourself into the routine of it, then you’ll start seeing what’s best for you.

How to be More Organised | Paperchase

I’d like to say that I’m very organised and maybe sometimes, a bit too much.  I don’t like the feeling of being out of control or not knowing what’s going on. I like to have everything planned and be able to put my finger on something if it ever comes up.

I plan most things I do, even down to my blog posts and gym workouts. I like structure and being in a routine. Without this, I feel like I’m lost and have no idea of what’s going on around me. To plan my life (essentially) I use my calander and reminders app on my iPad.  They are such good programmes and are an easy way of ticking things off & knowing what’s going on.

I like to do this quite often and I think I’m due a decluttering session soon! Deculttering helps you to know what you have in your home and where abouts it is if ever you need it. It’s good having regular clear outs so that you can dispose of anything you may not use anymore that’s taking up space. I love looking at decluttered surfaces and boxes in my bedroom!

You may have jobs to do on your lists and maybe you’re putting them off - I know I’m guilty of doing this! In fact, being more productive and getting the nasty jobs out of the way first is the best way to go. It also narrows down the jobs that you’re left with which you’ll appreciate even more.

Everything Has a Home
When I have my clear outs, I like making homes for things so that I know where they are. For instance; I have boxes which are full of beauty products and creams, boxes of belts and bags and boxes of any important paperwork or receipts I’ll need to refer to. Everything has its home and it’s great to keep it that way.

Note Making
I love making notes, especially in meetings I try and write as much down as I need to so that I don’t forget anything. Notes are good to keep hold of incase you want to pick up on something. With note making, I also put the date on everything I do so that I can be sure to locate it back to when I want.

If ever I fall off track of being organised, it completely messes me up. These 5 steps help me to be in the know and on top of everything which may be going on at the time.
