Queen of the Tee's

Basic white t-shirts are the core of our wardrobes simply because they go with everything and get you out of trouble when you're having a wardrobe malfunction (Which being a girl ... I know what it's like) These staple pieces are worn in all seasons and can be dressed up or down depending on your occasion. After all, who doesn't like an essential winter white?!

I don't know about you but I'm just loving every aspect of having a crown on my t-shirt! Before these, I had basic white t-shirts in my wardrobe which never had the 'WOW' factor. So these 3 have certainly kicked those old ones aside.

All of these t-shirts are from Urbanik Art and since I received them, they have released so many more cool designs! I have the short sleeve versions of them all which you can find in the links below. However, they have also introduced the long sleeve tee's which are perfect for this season.

I hope you all have the most amazing christmas and I look forward to uploading new and exciting posts in the new year!

Paris in a Day

On Thursday I took hold of the opportunity of which was going to work in Paris for the day. I'm so grateful for the perks I'm given and was super excited to go & buy Base Childrenswear's AW17 collection at Stella McCartney
If you've been reading my blog for a while then you may know that in the summer I went on my first ever business trips to Milan & Florence! Working with high end brands means going to places like this every 6 months to buy their collections. As you know, they love to portray the luxury image and if that means jetting off to different cities then so be it.
So anyway getting back to Thursday. What a day! My alarm went off at 2:30am and had my taxi waiting for me by 3:40am. By that time, sleeping was the last thing on my mind and I was so excited from the adrenaline of going to Paris for the first time in over 10 years. When I say Paris, it was probably my first time seeing the real city. I've been before when I was younger - but that's when it was all about Disneyland.
We (me and the buyer) arrived in Paris at 9:20 and had started our meeting by 10am. It was so exciting seeing Stella McCartney's new range and I cannot wait for it to be delivered. t was interesting to find out that the showroom we were in recently belonged to BalenciagaStella McCartney had just bought it and it absolutely gorgeous! That's pretty much all I can say, you'll just have to wait and see what we chose ;)
After lunch time we were finished with our appointment and luckily enough we had a bit of time to have a quick tour of the city.
When I say quick tour ... we pretty much ticked off our bucket list of Paris haha! It's amazing what you can do in the space of a few hours and what famous landmarks you can see.
We started off by going to the Notre Dame Cathedral which was absolutely stunning! It overlooked the peaceful canal and was very photogenic ;) After we ticked that off, we walked onto the Louvre which was 10x bigger than I ever expected! I managed to grab a quick photo before going onto Palais Royal.
This was a place that I was very excited about! Over the past few months, I've seen a few travel and French bloggers taking photos on the famous black and white boxes and was dying to go and check it out. I'm amazed by things like this which can be so simple yet so artistic and eye catching.
Lastly we went back to the Louvre and had a look at the gorgeous glass pyramids. The view was insane as we stood next to the pyramids in the sunshine overlooking the Eiffel Tower.
I just wish that every working day was like this one! After this trip, I feel like I want to do a lot more exploring and discovering new cities. Like I said before, it's amazing what you can do in a few hours and even in a day. Paris being only a few hours away, I'd certainly love to visit the romantic city again soon.
