Monday's Post | Bank Holiday Antics

Happy Bank Holiday guys!

I've been very busy this weekend creating my new lip balms which you may of seen on my Instagram  - batesrobyn - and Snapchat recently. I'll be posting a blog all about them soon to tell you a bit more info so make sure you look out for it :)

This weekend, I also went to the Fetty Wap concert in Hammersmith Apollo, London. It was insane, I think I'm literally obsessed with his music! Me and the girls were saying that we would love to go and see him again already. We probably had one too many drinks but it's bank holiday so it's a good excuse!

Festival Season & Summer Vibes

Never underestimate the power of festival fashion ...

I came across these pieces on Boohoo and put them together to create this whole festival look. Just wearing them has already given me a head start to getting my summer vibe on! I'm absolutely loving this cropped top btw, such a statement piece!

I'm really looking forward to the festival season purely for the fact that I love discovering all of the new trends. I cannot explain how many times I flicked through Coachella 2016 pics just to see what was going on and what everyone was wearing (definitely a festival on my bucket list!)

Festivals are a good excuse to experiment with outfits, style them with random accessories and create new trends for the summer. I'm going to Wireless this year and I'll soon be on the hunt to find some new festival accessories to go with my outfit.

Add me on my snapchat - batesrobyn - to see what I get up to over the summer

London City Girl

I'm all about the cold shoulder dresses, tops and jumpers right now as you may know from a previous blog post - Giving it the Cold Shoulder. I'm just loving this dress at the moment it's so easy to throw on and pair up with a load of girly accessories.

It's so comfortable and I guarantee I will be wearing this throughout the summer! The first time I wore this dress, I styled it up with a pair of pumps and it still looked cute. They also have a few other colours so watch out payday ... I know where I'll be going!

Monday's Post | A Weekend of Football

My Dad & Brother Ted have been in their element this weekend as it's just been all about football!

Just to fill you in, my Dad is the coach of my brothers team and has been for a few seasons now. This weekend, he signed them up for a tournament at Leyton Orient football stadium in which they won in their league.

And yesterday was all about their end of season awards ... as a team they've had an amazing season! My Brother came home with 2 well deserved awards for; Players Player and Parents Player. The look on his face when his name was called out was priceless haha, he wasn't expecting it at all. I'm so proud of him and love him millions, well done Bear!

Lazy Days and Sunday's

We have all done the ripped jeans look, still a favourite of mine! But now this is the next level ... ripped joggers! I don't normally like wearing joggers outside of the house but these have to be shown off!

I tailored them up with a sweatshirt that was bit of a mystery to me, but I had to try it out! The sweatshirt has two long pieces of material that you use to tie up as a bow around the waist. Something that's new to me!

And as for the shoes, I think they speak for themselves ...

Monday's Post : A Weekend Spent with my Bestie's

I can't believe it's Monday already, the weekend has just flew by!

I've had the most amazing weekend spent with Sam, it was completely spontaneous and very relaxing. On Saturday, me and Sam woke up and went to a craft shop to grab a load of new bits for my Love Robyn Collection.

We then spent our afternoon relaxing ... Sam watching football and me doing my usual girly and blogging things.

Later in the afternoon we went to take Flo for a walk at Sam's local country park. He had us on an adventure tour, climbing the rocks on the beach and exploring an old bomb shelter. (Surprisingly, very enjoyable!)

Our Sunday morning was spent at the David Lloyd spa (As if we needed more relaxation!) And then Sam went off with his friend to the Chelsea game.

Sometimes it's nice not to plan things and just go with the Flo ...

Here's to New Beginnings | Hypnotherapy YouTube Video

You may have seen my blog post 'The Struggles of being a Fussy Eater' and I thought that I'd keep you updated with how I'm getting on.

Since posting that blog, I've had hundreds of views and an amazing response so I'd love to share with you my recent experience of hypnotherapy.

Take a look at my video below to find out what happened and how I'm doing :)

One of many things I learnt when studying fashion was to try new ideas and just be 'out there'! A few years ago I never would have dreamt about putting a jumper with a skirt and heels ... But it works!

When I found this jumper on Miss Guided, I wanted to find something that's a bit more, girly to style it up with. Dressing it with jeans may have just given a masculine look.

I'm in love with these shoes from Public Desire, thanks for the tweet! ;)

So just have a rummage through your wardrobe and dig out some pieces that you may never have put with something before. Try it out, you may be pleasantly surprised ...

Have an amazing Friday lovely's!

Unfortunately the Baseball Jumper has sold out, so I've linked their knitwear collection below for the rainy days

Monday's Post | Biting the Bullet

How amazing has the weather been this weekend?!

On Saturday, me and my friends went into London for a few drinks at a rooftop bar that over looked St. Pauls. It was unbelievable! These are just a few pics I took from our girly day out.

But focusing on this week ... I have something to share with you ...

Back in March, I wrote a blog post about being a Fussy Eater and since then I've felt like I've really needed to change my diet. I was at a business meeting a few weeks back and got talking to a woman who knows a Hypnotherapist. So I got in touch with her and that's where I'm going this Wednesday!

Hopefully that will put a stop to my weird thoughts and focus more on trying new foods. I'll keep you up to date with how it goes.

I hope you all have a lovely week x

Giving it the Cold Shoulder

Are we all loving cold shoulder tops and dresses at the moment or is that just me? I mean, they're everywhere right now and I'm certainly digging this trend! I find them so flattering and especially with this whether, it's helps to make your wardrobe a bit more transitional through to the summer. This jumper from Miss Guided is lightweight and perfect for a casual day in the office.

And as for statement skirts ... this is just it, isn't it? I've always been one to wear something a bit, out there, but keeping it casual with something a bit more subtle.

As for shoes, Public Desire are just killing it at the moment! These heels are insane, I couldn't help but order them in black as well. I'm finding it so hard to stay away from their website right now ...

Overall, I'm loving this outfit and cannot wait to pair them up for more casual/dressy looks!
