Always Pack a Mac!

New year, new brushes! Mac has to be my favourite so far for makeup brushes. Every brush I own has it's own job and and they do it well.

With many Mac vouchers I received for Christmas, I decided to treat myself to some new eyeshadow brushes. I had a Mac makeup lesson two years ago from Maxine Buckley and I learnt some really good tips which will stay with me for life. I recommend everyone should have this lesson if you want to be more confident with wearing your makeup. Please check out her website: Maxine Buckley as she's a very talented hairdresser and makeup artist!

One of the brushes Maxine used on me was the 217 Eyeshadow Blending Brush from Mac. Wow, I will never look back. I bought myself another one as it's such a key tool in every girls makeup bag! It's very soft and helps to create the perfect finish to your eye makeup. I use it every time!

You can never have too many eyeshadow brushes. Whilst I was in there, I bought myself the 239 Eye Shader Brush. This is good for applying the eyeshadow as well as shading it in. You can use it to create a soft and dense finish.

Don't forget, washing them with shampoo or fairy liquid regularly will help to keep them in the best condition. You don't have to splash out for brush cleaner solutions, this is just as good!
