Winter White Wardrobe

I've come to the conclusion that this year I need more than one coat. Last year, no matter what I wore, I always looked the same once I had my coat on. This winter, I'm determined to buy a few and this is one of a few that I've bought already.

I trust my Mum with all my clothes, she's like my own stylist & I love it. She always knows what will work well and what would suit me. It was her that actually picked up this faux fur coat for me in Topshop. Not to mention it was also in the sale!

I've learnt to take more risks in what I wear and being a bit out there. After all, it could be the best combination. My fur coat is a bit quirky but I love it and feel like I can wear it with most outfits because it's white. Who doesn't like wearing winter whites? The first outfit I tried my coat on with as a cropped t-shirt, sweatpants and trainers. A bit random. But it worked.

My blouse is similar to one I already have which can be found in my Fall into Autumn blog post. I love these tops because you can wear them either casual or dressy. I wouldn't say that these are seasonal blouses as I'll definitely be bringing them back out in the spring.

You can never go wrong with a denim shirt. When I was in my early teens, I lived and breathed in these wardrobe staples. They can be worn with everything, including denim ... and despite the cardinal rule, I love double denim.

My friend Eleanor Ratcliffe helped me to shoot this blog post. She's a very talented up and coming photographer who is willing to experience any new challenges you give her. Make sure you check out her portfolio:
