Lifestyle | Relaxing Saturday Essentials

This is one of my first real blog posts which I've been excited about doing all week! I'm so obsessed with reading other people's blogs and I've built up some inspiration from their posts. I've wanted to create a blog for a long time now and now I finally feel like I'm taking the right steps.

__________

Today will consist of pure relaxation as I've had a pretty hectic week. Not that I'm complaining, I'd rather be busy than not. But today is my day that I'm going to sit back and put my feet up.

I recently bought a Filofax from Paperchase which I'm super obsessed with! If you don't know me already, then I'd like to say that I'm extremely organised and obsessed with stationary (bit weird I know). It cost me £85 and I can honestly say, it's been the best £85 I have ever spent. The Filofax comes with a calendar, address book, note pages, to do lists & plastic inserts. This is all I've ever wanted & I'm so happy that I finally have one!

Vaseline is a girl's best friend (well definitely mine). You can't go wrong with Vaseline, I don't go anywhere without it. I always put my Vaseline on as it acts like a clear lipgloss which helps to regenerate your lips at the same time! I also have the pink 'Rose Vaseline' which is so cool because it tints your lips pink. I find that it's the perfect colour which goes with any makeup style.

Dior, Dior, Dior. Now what would I do without you? Literally the best foundation I have ever had! I bought this over their counter in Boots for £32.50 and I can tell you now, it's definitely worth every penny. It helps to hide any blemishes or spots and gives your face an overall flawless look. Definitely essential with some basic daytime makeup today!

You'll always recognise a Swarovski pen! My Mum bought this amazing pen for me back when I was doing my GCSE's (cute touch don't you think?) and I have been using it ever since. This isn't any ordinary pen though, believe it or not, there's a memory stick inside! This Swarovski pen and my Filofax just make the most perfect combination.

My Mulberry bracelet is my pride and joy! It was bought as a gift for my 18th birthday last year and I haven't taken it off since. I always wear black or gold jewellery so it's a perfect finishing touch. The thing I love about it most is that the logo is so small that nobody would realise I'm wearing it unless they know me.

How could I do anywhere without my Apple Mac? My second most important piece of technology (obviously my phone is my rock) I'm going to spend my Saturday writing my blog post and editing my photos. Super fun!

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog, I really appreciate it

Love Robyn xxx

Miss Guided Wonders

It was my best friend's birthday last weekend so we all went to 195 Club in Epping. I've been to this club twice now & both times have been so fun! I can't believe I haven't been more!

Anyways, I ordered a load of dresses last minute (like usual) from Miss Guided & it wasn't until after I checked out that they wouldn't arrive until Monday. So I was having a panic up & emailed the retailer directly. I asked if there was any way that my order could be delivered sooner & they were able to fast track my items! I ended up receiving them Saturday morning (just in time)!

Thank you so much Miss Guided! Xxx

Retail Experience

On Saturday, it was my last ever day working on the shop floor. Unfortunately the store has closed down so it was my time to move onto bigger and better things.

I have worked there for 3 years now & it was my first ever job so I'm gutted to see it go. I've had some really fun times in there & would not change that experience for the world.

I'm pleased to say that I have moved onto the head side and I'm getting a feel for everything there! I have been working very closely with the buyer & have also been on a buying trip to Ralph Lauren. Which was absolutely amazing! I'm also working online dispatching orders which is so fun. I've been left in charge to run this department for 2 weeks now & I feel like I've learnt so much. It's unbelieveable how much experience I have had over the past couple of months, it's really helping me to decide what career I'm looking to take!

Ripley's Believe It Or Not / Fun Fact Book

I was just looking through this booklet I found in my bag from yesterday. There's so many interesting facts & we actually got this free as we booked online. I highly recommend booking this experience online as it's so much cheaper than paying on the day!

Ripley's Believe It Or Not

So yesterday I went to Ripley's Believe It Or Not in London.

If you haven't heard of it before, it's a museum about facts & surprising things! It was so interesting and I love learning new things so it was right up my street.

There were so many cool facts about science, history, animals loads more of interesting stuff. There were so many children around & they looked like they were having the best time.

They had a mirror maze in there which was so funny I wish it went on longer! It reminded me of those window mazes that you get at the old fun fairs.

It was so fun & I wish I could do it all again x
